Construction milestone: the Encanto ride building received its exterior paneling as the Tropical Americas project pushed toward its 2027 opening, after the main ride-building steel framework topped out over the preceding months.

Announced at D23 (Aug 10, 2024) as the first Encanto ride-through at a Disney park — the headline of the new Tropical Americas land (the 'Pueblo Esperanza' village replacing DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney's Animal Kingdom). Guests celebrate Antonio's gift of talking to animals, boarding vehicles inspired by furniture the Casita has brought to life; the facade is modeled on the Madrigals' Casita. Targeted to open in 2027.

Announced at D23 (Aug 10, 2024) as an Indiana Jones Adventure for Tropical Americas — an original story in which Indiana Jones explores a newly discovered, perfectly preserved Maya temple. Disney has said it uses the same Enhanced Motion Vehicle ride system as Disneyland's Indiana Jones Adventure. Targeted to open in 2027.
