The former DINOSAUR attraction on this site (DinoLand U.S.A.) closed permanently on Feb 2, 2026 to clear the way for Tropical Americas; Imagineering then filed a flurry of construction permits for the Indiana Jones attraction as work ramped up.
Announced at D23 (Aug 10, 2024) as an Indiana Jones Adventure for Tropical Americas — an original story in which Indiana Jones explores a newly discovered, perfectly preserved Maya temple. Disney has said it uses the same Enhanced Motion Vehicle ride system as Disneyland's Indiana Jones Adventure. Targeted to open in 2027.
