Disney's own post reads 'DinoLand U.S.A. will permanently close on February 2, 2026' while naming February 1 as the last day to experience the ride; Limitless Park and Disney Tourist Blog report the same February 1 final ride day, so the sources agree rather than conflict. Wikipedia's infobox was re-checked during the reconciliation pass and lists closing date February 2, 2026, status Closed. Not a COVID-era date.

Disney announced on August 11, 2024 that DinoLand U.S.A. would be replaced by an 11-acre land called Tropical Americas, set in the town of Pueblo Esperanza, with an Indiana Jones attraction taking DINOSAUR's place.

The Disney Parks Blog post dated August 11, 2024 covers the 11 acres, Pueblo Esperanza and the 2027 opening but does not itself say the Indiana Jones ride replaces DINOSAUR; Wikipedia supplies the succession ('an Indiana Jones attraction replacing Dinosaur'). No source consulted confirms that the DINOSAUR show building or ride system is being retained, so the replaced_by link rests on site succession alone.
