VISION House presented by Green Builder Media closed permanently on April 22, 2015, three years to the day after its Earth Day opening.
Disney confirmed in March 2015 that VISION House would close permanently at 7:00 p.m. on April 22, 2015 while the rest of Innoventions East stayed open.
VISION House presented by Green Builder Media opened in Innoventions East as a guided walk-through tour of a model sustainable home, taking over the space of the House of Innoventions.
The tour was organized around eight sustainability themes including whole-home automation, energy efficiency, onsite renewable power, water conservation, indoor environment quality, security, integrated multi-generational design and durability, with products from Pella, Trane, Siemens, Armstrong, Schlage and Sylvania on display.
Disney and Green Builder Media announced that VISION House would open at Epcot's Innoventions on Earth Day, taking over the space of the House of Innoventions.
