Demolition crews were tearing into the Innoventions West structure by October 2020, clearing its northwest section for a new attraction.
Innoventions East operated its final day on September 7, 2019 and closed for good the next morning, ending the complex's 25-year run with its last exhibits, Colortopia and Take a Nanooze Break.
The SpectacuLAB, a live science-demonstration show presented by Murata and Science From Scientists, opened in Innoventions East next to Colortopia in November 2017.
A Walt Disney World spokeswoman confirmed on September 13, 2016 that The Sum of All Thrills and StormStruck had closed for good, leaving Colortopia as the only remaining occupant of Innoventions East.
Colortopia, presented by Glidden, opened in Innoventions East in November 2015 with a Ty Burrell-narrated theater segment, a color lab and an interactive painting station.
