The CommuniCore name returned to the park in June 2024 when CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza opened in World Celebration on part of the original pavilion's footprint.
Demolition of the former CommuniCore West building, by then Innoventions West, began in fall 2019.
A large section of the former CommuniCore West building kept its original CommuniCore carpet patterns and logo-bearing light fixtures until a 2007 renovation of Innoventions.

Innoventions opened in the former CommuniCore East and West buildings on July 1, 1994, replacing the pavilion's exhibits with a corporate technology showcase.
Epcot Outreach left the CommuniCore West building on July 1, 1994 and reopened elsewhere in the park as the Epcot Discovery Center.
CommuniCore closed permanently on January 30, 1994 after 11 years so both buildings could be redesigned into Innoventions.
Expo Robotics closed on October 3, 1993, removing the pavilion's robot-arm demonstration.
Backstage Magic gave its final performance on October 1, 1993, ending the show inside EPCOT Computer Central months before the pavilion closed.
The Electronic Forum, home of the interactive EPCOT Poll, closed on March 16, 1991, and the World News Center opened in CommuniCore the following day.
Expo Robotics opened in CommuniCore West on February 13, 1988, demonstrating programmed robot arms that performed tricks and sketched guests' portraits from video images.
The Astuter Computer Revue gave its last performance on January 2, 1984, and the same EPCOT Computer Central space reopened on February 4, 1984 as Backstage Magic.
Epcot Outreach, an information and educational resource area that included the Epcot Teacher's Center, opened inside CommuniCore West on May 26, 1983.
CommuniCore opened with EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982 as two semicircular exhibit buildings, CommuniCore East and CommuniCore West, standing behind Spaceship Earth at the center of Future World.
