Basis for the reskin classification: a new and substantially different film show took the same theater under a new name, and Magic Journeys never returned to Epcot. Yesterland's Magic Eye Theater lineup gives "Captain EO - September 12, 1986 to July 6, 1994". The Captain EO Wikipedia article was dropped as a citation here because it dates the premiere only to "September 12, 1986 (Florida)" and names neither Epcot nor Magic Journeys.

Magic Journeys opened with EPCOT Center on the park's first day as the 3-D film in the Magic Eye Theater at the Kodak-sponsored Journey Into Imagination pavilion.

A 16-minute film directed by Murray Lerner with a score by Richard and Robert Sherman, themed to the world seen through the eyes of a child. D23 and Yesterland independently date the debut to October 1, 1982.
