The Magic Eye Theater reopened on July 2, 2010 with the returning Captain EO, which occupied the building until its final Epcot showing on December 6, 2015.

Billed at Disneyland as the Captain EO Tribute, though Yesterland notes Epcot advertised it simply as Captain EO; it is the same entity as this record's predecessor, which is why replaces and replaced_by both point at epcot_captain_eo. Wikipedia records a soft opening at Epcot on June 30, 2010, two days before the official July 2 reopening, and notes the return reused in-theater effects held over from Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. Kodak, which had sponsored the pavilion since it opened in 1982, ended its sponsorship in August 2010 after nearly 28 years, two months after the changeover.

Day-level date is disputed and therefore not asserted: Wikipedia gives May 9, 2010; TouringPlans states 'this attraction's final day of operation was May 8, 2010'; a contemporaneous Orlando Parks News post published May 10, 2010 said the show 'closed today for the return of Captain EO.' Wikipedia's May 9 cites that same May 10 post. Only month precision is corroborated. Epcot was not the last location to close: Disneyland ended January 4, 2010, Disneyland Paris May 3, 2010, and Tokyo Disneyland May 10, 2010.

The Epcot show was cloned to three other Disney parks, opening at Tokyo Disneyland as MicroAdventure! on April 15, 1997, at Disneyland on May 22, 1998 and at Disneyland Paris as Cherie, j'ai retreci le public on March 28, 1999, each replacing that park's Captain EO.

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience opened in the Magic Eye Theater at Epcot's Kodak-sponsored Journey Into Imagination pavilion, taking over the theater Captain EO had vacated on July 6, 1994.

Randal Kleiser-directed 3D film shown with polarized glasses and projectors, with in-theater effects and a platform under the entire seating area that moved up to about four inches to simulate the theater shaking. Epcot announced the attraction in November 1993 under the title 'Honey, I Shrunk the Theater'; Wikipedia records the change to 'Honey, I Shrunk the Audience' in February 1994, so the earlier title is noted here rather than listed as a former name, since the show never operated under it. Published running times conflict (Wikipedia lists 23 minutes; Yesterland describes a 13-minute film), so no duration is asserted here.
