Islands of Adventure · Universal Orlando
On March 1, 2025, second-generation interactive wands (illumination, haptic effects, and Universal app integration; about $85 plus tax) went on sale at Dervish and Banges, alongside new Hogsmeade spell locations including The Owl Post and the Duelling Club Tent.
With the July 2014 debut of interactive wands across the Wizarding World, Dervish and Banges served as Hogsmeade's interactive-wand purchase point (about $63 interactive vs $55 original) and gained spell-casting locations such as the Hogwarts-model music box in its window (Locomotor to start, Arresto Momentum to stop).
Dervish and Banges opened June 18, 2010 as one of the original shops of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade at Universal's Islands of Adventure, selling Quidditch gear, Hogwarts house apparel, and magical curios.
