Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade gave its final performance on May 31, 2014, after more than twelve years, and no daytime parade replaced it.

Three sources give the same final date: Attractions Magazine appended "UPDATE: 5/31/14 - Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade has had its final performance," waltdatedworld records "a final performance on May 31, 2014," and Yesterland gives October 1, 2001 to May 31, 2014. Run length stated as more than twelve years because October 2001 to May 2014 is twelve years and eight months; the widely repeated "nearly 13 years" overstates it. Permanence checked separately from the closure: Yesterland states that "even after the construction was complete, no parade returned to Disney's Animal Kingdom," and the park's attraction list carries the parade only under past entertainment with no current daytime parade. This closure predates the March 2020 shutdown by six years.

Disney announced on February 13, 2014 that the parade would end that June because construction on the park's Avatar-themed expansion would remove a significant part of its viewing area, and said no replacement parade was planned.

Both cited news reports are dated February 13, 2014. Attractions Magazine states that "a significant part of the Jungle Parade's viewing area will be removed because of the construction" and that "No replacement parades are planned"; Inside the Magic reports the final performance would come "this summer in June after nearly 13 years of daily shows." Disney pointed instead to future nighttime entertainment over Discovery River with live music, floating lanterns and water screens, with no debut date given.

The Jingle Jungle holiday overlay was staged for the last time at the close of the 2013-14 run in early January 2014 and was never presented again.

Month precision is deliberate: the published run ended January 2, 2014, but that date comes from a pre-season guide and the January 2011 extension shows Disney pushed such runs past their published end dates, so the exact final performance day is not established. Neither Yesterland nor waltdatedworld gives an end year for the overlay. Permanence rests on the host parade's retirement five months later, which left no parade to re-dress the following holiday season.

Beginning with the 2004 holiday season, the parade was re-dressed each winter and ran under its own name as Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade, with decorated floats and costumes and a sleigh-bell percussion beat added to the soundtrack.

Not a separate parade: waltdatedworld says "the parade made an annual transformation into Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade" and Yesterland says "the parade received an annual holiday overlay, becoming Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade" - same floats, route and performers under a seasonal name, which is why the name is carried as an alternate rather than as its own record. Year-only precision: sources name the 2004 holiday season, not a first performance date. A 2010 description of the overlay has it running each afternoon from about mid-November to early January and re-theming props, with Minnie's bubble-bath float refilled with hot cocoa.
