Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opened in the former It's Tough to be a Bug! theater inside the Tree of Life.

The successor kept the same theater and the same 3D-with-effects format under an entirely new film and story, with a score by Michael Giacchino.

It's Tough to be a Bug! opened inside the Tree of Life Theater on Disney's Animal Kingdom's first day of operation, about seven months before the film A Bug's Life reached theaters.

A nine-minute 3D film paired with Audio-Animatronics and in-theater effects including air blasts, water sprayers, scent, seat pokers and fog; the animated portion was produced by Rhythm and Hues, and the show is commonly described as the first Pixar-themed attraction in a Disney park.
