Wossamotta U closed in October 2025 (reported Oct 13), with its windows completely blocked out and no reason given by Universal.

Zone Update
By April 2026 the panels covering the closed shop's windows were decorated with Rocky and Bullwinkle speech-bubble decals such as 'Hokey smokes!' and 'Wossamotta with this store!'.

In July 2016 the store was overhauled into a dedicated The Secret Life of Pets shop, filled with plush, shirts, mugs and books tied to the film's release.

Around 2011 the shop operated as part gift shop, part internet cafe, charging $10 for 30 minutes (or $7/15 min, $5/10 min) of internet access plus selling phone cases and batteries.
