The Canada pavilion's trading post shop (Northwest Mercantile / Trading Post) opened with EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982, themed to the early days of the Hudson's Bay Company and selling Canadian goods like maple syrup, sheepskins, soapstone carvings, and lumberjack shirts.
