The store replaced the Discovery Center's lower-level dinosaur exhibits and displays, which had closed during the pandemic, and routed riders out through the shop during passholder previews running through May 5, 2021.
The VelociCoaster Store opened as a pop-up gift shop on the lower level of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, converting shuttered exhibit space into retail ahead of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster's June 10, 2021 grand opening.
The shop debuted VelociCoaster-exclusive merchandise, including 'Raptor Country' and 'They were here first' T-shirts.
