The former Marvel Boutique/meet-and-greet space was permanently absorbed into the adjacent Comics Shop, with a portion of wall knocked down for a connecting doorway and the old 'Photos'/meet-and-greet signage removed.

The Marvel Boutique opened in Marvel Super Hero Island on July 1, 2017, replacing the former Adventure Eyewear (Oakley sunglasses) shop and selling women's superhero apparel and accessories themed to characters including Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Spider-Gwen.
