Block Party Bash, relocated from Disney California Adventure, opened on the park's parade route six days later as the stated replacement for the Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade.

The parade article records a Block Party Bash soft opening on March 9, 2008. Block Party Bash itself ran at the park until January 1, 2011; the January 11 date in that article's infobox comes from transposed per-park fields, and Yesterland, the article prose and the attraction list all give January 1.

The Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade ran for the final time at Disney's Hollywood Studios, after six years and five months in the park's daily parade slot.

During the holiday season the same procession had run as the Hollywood Holly-day Parade; the sources give no separate end date for that overlay.

The Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade premiered at the Disney-MGM Studios as part of the Walt Disney World Resort's 100 Years of Magic celebration, running a lineup of 15 character-themed cars from a backstage gate near Star Tours out onto Hollywood Boulevard.

Took over the park's daily parade slot previously held by the Mulan Parade, which had ended on March 11, 2001. The park was still named Disney-MGM Studios at this date; the rename to Disney's Hollywood Studios took effect January 7, 2008.
