As of August 2025 Tomorrowland Terrace had not operated as a regular quick-service restaurant for a couple of years, its upper level open only for morning and early-afternoon overflow seating before being blocked off for the nighttime fireworks dessert party.

In November 2011 the venue dropped its Asian noodle concept for an American quick-service menu of burgers, sandwiches, and salads and was renamed the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.

In 2009 Disney began hosting an up-charge Wishes fireworks dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace, adding a reserved evening dessert offering.

The current Tomorrowland Terrace opened in 2004 as the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station, a counter-service eatery serving an Asian-inspired noodle menu, replacing the former Plaza Pavilion building.

The Tomorrowland Terrace name debuted at Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971 on a different Tomorrowland building, which closed in September 1994 and reopened that December as Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe before the name was later revived for the current corner venue.
