From October 31 through November 22, 2025, Nine Dragons ran a limited-time $32.95 prix-fixe dim sum lunch menu featuring four dim sum selections, a tea, and a dessert.
Nine Dragons reopened on August 3, 2021 after being closed since March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic (the space had served as overflow seating for the nearby Lotus Blossom Cafe), initially running dinner-only Tuesday through Saturday.
In January 2016 Nine Dragons rolled out its first major menu overhaul since 2008, adding steamed-bun Chinese 'burgers' (braised pork belly, sweet-and-sour fish, General Tso's chicken) plus a $17.98 prix-fixe lunch of appetizer, entree, and dessert.
After a renovation, Nine Dragons reopened in September 2008 with new etched-glass and carved-wood decor and a lighter, fresher menu that moved away from its older Americanized Chinese take-out fare.
Nine Dragons Restaurant opened on October 23, 1985, in EPCOT's World Showcase China pavilion, adding a full table-service Chinese restaurant three years after the pavilion itself debuted.
