Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment opened on July 8, 2014 as part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley expansion at Universal Studios Florida, serving as the exit shop for the Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride and selling magical instruments like telescopes and hourglasses.
The shop (and the wider Diagon Alley land) was built on the former site of Jaws: The Ride, which closed January 2, 2012, and some of the decorative telescopes inside Wiseacre's are repurposed props salvaged from the retired Jaws attraction.
