The collapsed facade was finally repaired about two and a half years later; reconstruction of the marble window frames and doorway began February 2025 and the repair was completed in May 2025.
A portion of the store's Art Deco facade -- part of the doorway's marble-like surround and one of the vintage light fixtures -- collapsed in fall 2022, and the damaged section was walled off with construction barriers.
After closing March 1, 2019 for refurbishment, the shop reopened August 29, 2019 (timed to the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge grand opening), reconcepted as a dedicated Star Wars merchandise location with a brighter, more open look, four entrances, and an accessibility ramp.
Keystone Clothiers opened on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney's Hollywood Studios (then Disney-MGM Studios), selling adult Disney fashions, accessories, and jewelry.
