Cast members were no longer permitted to create the shop's fan-favorite monthly pop-culture family-crest displays, with a 'Dinosaur' crest reported as the last one made.
Disney added a D23 Gold member discount of 15% off all merchandise ($ purchases) at The Crown & Crest, including the personalized family coat-of-arms items.
The shop was reconcepted and renamed 'The Crown & Crest' as a British heraldry shop selling family coats of arms and crests, after the original His Lordship had been renamed 'Lords and Ladies' in the late 1980s.
The shop opened with EPCOT's United Kingdom Pavilion on October 1, 1982 as 'His Lordship,' one of the pavilion's six original shops (selling men's gifts and accessories).
