The previously standalone Kwik-E-Mart was incorporated into the new Springfield U.S.A. land, which opened with its Fast Food Boulevard first phase on June 1, 2013 and was completed by August 2013, surrounding the shop with a fully themed Simpsons town.
The Kwik-E-Mart Simpsons merchandise shop opened at Universal Studios Florida inside the former Back to the Future: The Ride building, replacing that attraction's gift shop and predating The Simpsons Ride.
