The reimagined Confectionery reopened September 29, 2021 (soft-opened Sept 28) for Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary, now hosted by Mars Wrigley with M&M's, Skittles, and Snickers branding added.
The September 2021 relaunch overhauled the menu with 30+ new treats plus interactive make-your-own stations (Kernel Kitchen popcorn, Color Kitchen candy mixes, Glacier Kitchen frozen drinks) and a candy wall of 38 M&M's and Skittles varieties.
The shop closed March 29, 2021, for a roughly six-month reimagining refurbishment that expanded and redesigned the interior.
Main Street Confectionery opened October 1, 1971, as an original opening-day candy shop on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom.
