The Studio Store's home land, Animation Courtyard, was redeveloped into The Walt Disney Studios (a recreation of the Burbank studio lot), with the new courtyard officially opening on May 26, 2026.
A reimagined Studio Store, with Abu from Aladdin perched on its sign, is set to return as part of the new Walt Disney Studios land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The Studio Store closed permanently on September 25, 2025, when Disney shut down its home, Animation Courtyard, to redevelop the area into The Walt Disney Studios.
