In October 2025 the Savi's Workshop handbuilt lightsaber price increased $25 at Walt Disney World, from $249.99 to $274.99 plus tax.
On April 24, 2024, Savi's Workshop modified its payment policy for the lightsaber experience, requiring full payment at the time of the reservation rather than being charged at check-in in the workshop.
In April 2021 the handbuilt lightsaber price at Savi's Workshop rose $20, from $199.99 to $219.99 plus tax.
Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers opened with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios on August 29, 2019, debuting the build-your-own lightsaber experience at an original price of $199.99.
