New menu items arrived on April 1, 2026, including Cheese Ravioli, Silver Screen Wings, a Buffalo Fried Chicken Sandwich, a Grilled Pork Chop, and a 'Feature Finale' dessert.
Four new menu items were reviewed at the restaurant in April 2025: the Feature Film Burger, the Cyborg-er, a Fried Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich, and the Cerulean Moon dessert.
The restaurant received a menu overhaul in June 2022, adding items such as a Surf & Turf Feature Film Burger, a Grilled Chicken Citrus Salad, a plant-based Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and new desserts.
The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant opened on Commissary Lane at the then-Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios) as part of Walt Disney World's 20th-anniversary additions, seating guests in 1950s convertible-style booths to watch a loop of vintage sci-fi and B-movie clips.
