Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge opened as the anchor attraction of Super Nintendo World with the grand opening of Universal Epic Universe, an augmented-reality dark ride on which riders wear AR visors to steer karts, collect coins, and fire shells to help Team Mario beat Team Bowser.
