Si Xian had stopped performing by August 27, 2012, when a WDWMagic forum thread about the act opened by asking when and why it had ended and drew no answer.
2012 is a documented-gone-by year, not a confirmed final performance: no source gives a last-show date, and wdwent.com's archive of former EPCOT entertainment carries Si Xian without one even though other entries on that page have end dates. The nearest earlier signal is a fan video description saying zheng player Ann Yao retired from the China pavilion in 2010, but it is single-sourced, speaks only to her rather than to the ensemble, and its "for 16 years or so" would place her start around 1994, conflicting with the state publication's 1990. The act has not returned; WDWMagic's attraction index no longer lists it under China, which carries only Reflections of China and The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats.
