In July 2023 the shop stocked a new line of United Kingdom-themed Disney merchandise, including Mickey- and Minnie-branded apparel and accessories with British and World Showcase 'United Kingdom' branding.
The Sportsman's Shoppe reopened to guests in mid-October 2021 after sitting closed since Walt Disney World's March 2020 COVID-19 shutdown, making it one of the last World Showcase shops to return.
The United Kingdom Pavilion shop unit now home to The Sportsman's Shoppe opened with Epcot's World Showcase on October 1, 1982, originally as the Scottish-knitwear boutique Pringle of Scotland, which was renamed The Sportsman's Shoppe in the early 2000s.
