The Test Track Gear Shop soft-opened July 21, 2025 and officially reopened July 22, 2025, now presented by General Motors (formerly Chevrolet), with merchandise spanning Corvette, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC gear plus Pixar "Cars" items.
On June 3, 2025 Disney revealed the refurbished shop's new name, the "Test Track Gear Shop," retiring the SIMporium name during construction.
The SIMporium and adjacent Chevrolet Showroom closed June 17, 2024 when Test Track shut down for its 3.0 refurbishment.
With the Test Track 2.0 reimagining that reopened December 6, 2012, the shop was reconcepted and renamed the "Test Track SIMporium," sitting alongside the Chevrolet Showroom.
Opened March 17, 1999 as "Inside Track," the exit gift shop for the original Test Track attraction presented by General Motors.
