Construction barriers - scrim, scaffolding, and rolling planters - were up around the Stein Haus facade by June 23, 2026 for an exterior refurbishment, though the shop stayed open via alternate entrances such as the Weinkeller doorway.

A new Germany Pavilion souvenir beer stein, with nods to Karamell-Kueche and a top modeled on the pavilion's clock tower, became available in January 2024 (sold with a beer purchase at the pavilion's beer carts).
