Yesterland: "Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 debuted at the Canada pavilion January 17, 2020, as the third movie since 1982." Wikipedia says the successor began operation January 17, 2020, "Replacing O Canada!" with updated sequences and a new score; D23 confirms O Canada! was "replaced by Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360."

O Canada! closed in the Canada pavilion theater after nearly 37 years and never reopened under that name.

Sources split by one day on what the date means: D23 says "closed July 31, 2019" and TouringPlans says "This attraction's final day of operation was July 31, 2019," while Yesterland says the film "closed permanently August 1, 2019" and Wikipedia says it "closed on August 1, 2019" - consistent with July 31 as the last operating day. The closure was announced at the time as a refurbishment (ExtinctDisney: "the theater closed once again for a four-month refurbishment"); it proved permanent for O Canada! because the theater reopened under a different attraction name.

A rebuilt O Canada! debuted with Canadian actor Martin Short as host, new footage, an orchestral score by Bruce Broughton and a re-recording of the theme song "Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey)" by Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila.

Wikipedia's film article and ExtinctDisney both give September 1, 2007; Yesterland says only "September 2007" and the Canada (Epcot) article says August 31, 2007. Wikipedia specifies the song was "re-recorded by Eva Avila" rather than newly written, and says the update was made "in part in response to a seven-year campaign by the Canadian Tourism Commission due to a steady stream of complaints over the years about the dated representation of Canada." Yesterland describes the result as a 14-minute film.
