After a brief closure (closed Dec 10, reservations halted), Spice Road Table reopened Dec 13, 2020 with a reworked Mediterranean small-plates lounge menu (e.g., Tiropitakia $9, Spiced Chicken $11, Dessert Platter $9) and dropped table-service reservations to become walk-up only.
Disney announced it would assume full operation of EPCOT's Morocco pavilion - including Spice Road Table and its other food, beverage, and merchandise locations - from the Moroccan operating participants by the end of 2020.
Spice Road Table opened in EPCOT's Morocco pavilion in January 2014 (previews Jan 10-11, official opening Jan 21) as a Mediterranean tapas/small-plates restaurant on the World Showcase Lagoon waterfront, replacing a hodgepodge of 'temporary' food kiosks that had occupied the spot.
