The room became a nationally noted jazz venue: the resident Bubba Kolb Trio (1975-1981) backed touring headliners in two-week engagements, the Frank Rosolino Quartet was recorded live there in November 1978, and acts included Urbie Green, Teddy Wilson, Clark Terry and Barney Kessel.
