Reopened September 10, 2025 with a brighter redesigned interior (white tiles and light wood panels) and a new mermaid-and-marine-life mural replacing the former chalkboard-style coffee-growing-regions world map.
The renovated location added Starbucks mobile ordering and Rewards stars redemption for the first time when it reopened in September 2025.
The CityWalk Starbucks temporarily closed for renovation in mid-June 2025, with a temporary Starbucks set up inside Universal's Great Movie Escape during the work.
As part of CityWalk's 2013-announced expansion, Starbucks relocated from its second-level spot to a larger ground-floor location (roughly doubling in size and modernizing its look), with the new facade revealed behind construction walls on March 1, 2014.
