Bigfire reopened after the COVID-19 shutdown with limited hours (Thursday-Sunday, 4-10 p.m.) and social-distancing measures, including a one-way flow of traffic through the main entrance.
Bigfire opened at Universal CityWalk as a wood-fired American grill themed to a lakeside lodge, taking over the two-story building that had housed Emeril's Orlando (which operated 1999 to July 7, 2018).
The debut menu centered on open-flame, wood-fired cooking with signature items including the Bigfire bison burger, a 16oz Cowboy Ribeye, and tableside s'mores for dessert.
