Rivers of Light: We Are One played its final performance on March 15, 2020, the last operating day before Walt Disney World closed for the COVID-19 pandemic, and it never ran again.
The show returned the night after the original version's final May 23 performance as "Rivers of Light: We Are One," weaving in imagery from Disneynature films and Disney animated features including Brother Bear and The Lion King.
The show's live performers were removed on September 29, 2018 as a cost-reduction measure.
