Harambe Market soft opened February 2, 2026 (full reopening February 5) reconcepted from African street food into the park's main burger, chicken-strip and fries quick-service location, with a new American-style menu at lower prices (1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger $13.99, Chicken Strips $10.99).
Harambe Market closed on October 20, 2025 for a refurbishment supporting a menu overhaul, with select signature items temporarily offered at the nearby Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery.
After closing during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, Harambe Market reopened on November 14, 2020, initially operating on weekends only.
Harambe Market opened in Disney's Animal Kingdom's Africa land as an open-air African street-food marketplace with four quick-service stalls (soft opening May 23 per Disney's D23 archive; official opening June 3, 2015).
