On November 21, 2017 the small lobby-bar Ale & Compass Lounge -- previously just a spot for coffee, drinks, and continental breakfast with little seating -- reopened reimagined with a new interior, expanded seating for 58 guests, and a new menu of classic cocktails and small bites (its planned October debut was pushed back).
The lounge's makeover was part of Yacht Club's wider 'Ale & Compass' dining transformation, which also closed the adjacent Captain's Grille and replaced it with the Ale & Compass Restaurant (opened November 21, 2017).
