Phineas Q. Butterfat's Ice Cream Parlor opened in Springfield U.S.A. at Universal Studios Florida as part of the land's second-phase expansion, alongside Lard Lad Donuts, Duff Gardens, and Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck.

The Springfield U.S.A. land housing Phineas Q. Butterfat's was built on the site of the former International Food and Film Festival, which the park closed in 2012 (the same area that earlier held Back to the Future: The Ride until 2007).
