Lisa's Teahouse of Horror opened as one of the counters of Fast Food Boulevard, the quick-service hub of the new Springfield U.S.A. (The Simpsons) area, which opened as the first phase of the expansion at Universal Studios Florida.
The venue opened with a lighter, vegetarian-friendly menu (Caesar, Mediterranean and Caprese salads, a veggie sandwich, turkey wrap, hummus and fruit plate) setting it apart from Fast Food Boulevard's burger and pizza stands.
