With the Starbucks conversion the bakery's signature cinnamon roll was removed from the menu and relocated to New Fantasyland (Gaston's Tavern).
Main Street Bakery reopened June 18, 2013 reconcepted as a Starbucks, with a new menu of Starbucks beverages, breakfast sandwiches and baked goods and all indoor seating removed to enlarge the retail space.
The bakery closed on January 13, 2013 for a roughly five-month renovation to reconcept it into a Starbucks location.
After Sara Lee ended its sponsorship in the mid-1980s and the venue cycled through names as the Main Street Bake Shop, Nestle Toll House assumed sponsorship in 1993 before the name reverted to Main Street Bakery in 2001.
Main Street Bakery opened with Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971, themed as a turn-of-the-century tearoom and originally sponsored by Sara Lee.
