A June 2022 menu update raised prices and trimmed offerings: most sushi rolls rose about $1, combination entrees increased (Asakusa to $44, Nihonbashi to $43, Ueno to $42), the Tsukiji scallop-and-steak combo was removed, and the spicy calamari appetizer was replaced with assorted tempura at $17.

The teppanyaki restaurant opened as the "Teppanyaki Dining Rooms" on EPCOT's opening day, inside the Mitsukoshi department store building in the Japan pavilion of World Showcase.
