In March 2022 Space 220 overhauled its restaurant prix-fixe menu, adding entrees like Steak & Frites and Spaceghetti & Shrimp and removing six dishes while holding $55 lunch / $79 dinner pricing, as the separate Space 220 Lounge added a $24 Shrimp Cocktail to its a-la-carte menu.
Originally walk-up only, EPCOT's Space 220 Lounge began accepting advance dining reservations on December 1, 2021, making its lounge seating bookable while a standby line remained for the bar.
Space 220 Lounge opened September 20, 2021 alongside the Space 220 Restaurant in EPCOT, timed to Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary after pandemic delays pushed it back from an originally announced late-2019 debut.
