Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches reopened at Universal CityWalk in August 2020 with social-distancing measures (tables removed and queue distancing markers) after the COVID-19 shutdown of Universal Orlando.
Bread Box Handcrafted Sandwiches opened at Universal CityWalk (second level, over the July 4th holiday weekend) in the former home of the Cigarz cigar shop, next to the new Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, offering hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, and milkshakes.
At opening, Bread Box's handcrafted sandwiches (chicken salad, Italian, roast beef, PLT, pastrami, smoky brisket, and grilled cheese) were priced at $7.95 from the menu, with Nutella-based Chocolate Hazelnut and Vanilla Sky milkshakes offered.
