For Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), Bend the Bao added two limited-time menu boba drinks — a Winter Melon & Strawberry Tea Lemonade with aiya jelly boba and a Passion Fruit & Ginger Tea with lychee boba — available through February 15, 2025; no special bao dishes were part of that year's offering.
Bend the Bao opened June 15, 2021 on the second level of Universal CityWalk as an original Universal Orlando quick-service concept serving Asian-fusion bao (kimchee fried chicken, pork belly, duck, beef brisket, crab cake, shrimp, veggie).
Fusion Bistro Sushi & Sake Bar, the second-level CityWalk kiosk whose space Bend the Bao took over, closed on April 27, 2021.
