The Pizza Window closed June 11, 2023 for an exterior/balcony refurbishment (originally scheduled through June 17), moved to a temporary boardwalk location, and reopened after the work was extended into late June 2023.

By 2021 the menu had shifted from personal pizzas to large slices, with cheese slices around $7.99, specialty slices $8.99, and whole pizzas $20.99-$22.99 (menu).

Kouzzina by Cat Cora closed in September 2014, and Trattoria al Forno opened December 18, 2014; the walk-up BoardWalk Pizza Window persisted and now operated in conjunction with Trattoria al Forno.
