Dawa Bar reopened in mid-September 2020 following the COVID-19 shutdown, several weeks after Animal Kingdom itself reopened on July 11, 2020.

With the January 2014 renovation, the Harambe Cooler returned to the Dawa Bar menu, having temporarily been replaced by the Dawa Colada.

Zone Update
Dawa Bar, relocated within Harambe Village in September 2013 amid pathway changes for the Festival of the Lion King theater's move from Camp Minnie-Mickey, was documented as newly renovated in January 2014 with a blue color refresh and expanded seating.
